Love Me As I Am
A Ten Minute Play
Love Me As I Am tells the story of two sapphic lovers in a small town that could never understand their love. And definitely never accept it. Just an hour after their graduation, Catherine, a determined teenager, meets with her secret girlfriend Amarissa, who's more of the obedient type, following the discovery that Amarissa was to be sent away in mere days. This short play discusses homophobia, perseverance, and acceptance.
Love Me As I Am is a two-person play with a simple set. Additionally, it was a Thrown Stone 2025 CT Short Play Fest Finalist!
